Who are we?

The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a non-profit organization founded in 1971. 

"The purpose of the Association for Women in Mathematics is to encourage women and girls to study and to have active careers in the mathematical sciences, and to promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences."

Seminar: Permutations and Pinnacle sets
Speaker: Dr. Bridget Tenner

When: Monday, November 30th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM EST

Description: Join your friends online to learn about the differences between pinnacle and peak sets.  This will be very interesting because these two sets have notable natural symmetries.  Throughout this seminar, Dr. Tenner will be also characterizing and giving enumerative results about pinnacle sets.
